Citywide Citywide Recreation Summer Camp Positions PP&R is currenlty recruiting for Summer Camp Directors, Summer Camp Counselors and Inclusion Assistants. Camp staff positions organize, plan and lead a variety of camp activities including art, craft, music, performance, science, games, nature and sports in addition to supporting the physical, social and cognitive development of preschool and school-aged participants. Positions will be responsible for maintaining discipline and safety while monitoring youth, consistently modeling appropriate behavior, administering basic first aid, maintaining accurate program records, and performing maintenance duties as assigned. Instructor must possess creativity, flexibility, and be able to provide a safe and stimulating class environment with age-appropriate group activities. Instructor must enjoy working with children, and be able to communicate effectively with parents. Responsibilities: Lead classes for students of different ages, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Provide a safe, welcoming environment for all students. Communicate with Site Manager and parents. Be flexible and adaptable to all situations. Requirements: Experience in teaching ballet and other types of dance to children ages preschool to youth.
